The late afternoon light glints off the sides of the San Joaquin train #710 at Pinole, CA. Back in October 1985, the state of California's support for the San Joaquin gave passengers a choice of two round trips a day. Now there are more than 10 round trips today, and each train can accommodate more than the three car Amfleet trains of 1985.
