Amtrak train #13 rolls out of the Santa Susana Pass and down into Simi Valley with F40PH's 248 and 285 in charge on a sunny January 16th, 1989. How soon things change; the F40PH's would soon be gone, banished by B32-PHW's and then P40's and P42DC's.
