On March 5th, 1982, we stop at 34th and Wood in Oakland to be sernaded by the Oakland Terminal's Baldwin 101. It is in the process of pumping up the air on a cut of cars that are on the tracks leading up towards 40th and San Pablo in Oakland. We're basically on the right of way that the Key System used to get its F-Line trains from 40th and San Pablo to the Bay Bridge by way of an underpass under the SP main. Of course, the OT used the old SP trestle that got the IER trains over the mainline and the "land-side" electric lines.
