A Barstow-Los Angeles (BALA) train is under the command of GP60M's 151 and 108, B40-8W 550, and GP35u 2921 as it rolls through West Corona, CA on April 20, 1996. Even though Red Warbonnet power was front line power back in 1996, they could pull down an assignment to any train in the Los Angeles Basin. Date:

Santa Fe F7A 347C and F7B 347B were borrowed from the California State Railway Museum in 1989 for a publicity assignment in Pasadena, CA as part of the Super Bowl that year. Here we see the two units with Santa Fe's consist from its directors' special (Baggage 77, Coach 62, Super Dome 60, Coach 61, and Business Cars Regal Lark, Regal Manor, and Regal Spa) in the siding in front of the Pasadena depot, February 7, 1989. At this point, the Second Sub through Pasadena was still active for Amtrak and some westbound TOFC trains. Date:
